Thikiliveddai in Need

Despite recent challenges at the Thikiliveddai Farm, where incursions by elephants and cattle caused damage, the farm team has demonstrated resilience. While there are costly repairs to be done, the team has implemented temporary fixes using available resources. The farm is committed to finding long-term solutions via investors who are passionate about natural farming to ensure its continued operation. Monsoon Challenges

Recent heavy monsoon rains have significantly impacted farming activities in Mavadivembu and Thikiliveddai. Continuous rainfall has unfortunately led to the disruption of planned crop harvests and damage to ground-level crops. However, the resilient Symbioun team remains undeterred. In response to these challenges, alternative farming methods are being explored. These include venturing into aquaculture and implementing innovative techniques such as cultivating crops in grow bags, which can better withstand adverse weather conditions.
